Overview, features & quick facts
Mymensingh Medical College (MMC) is a legendary, top-tier apex government medical institution located in the peaceful city of Mymensingh, Bangladesh. MMC stands proudly among the oldest and largest government medical facilities in the country. The college is physically attached to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital (MMCH), a massive tertiary-care super-specialty hospital boasting an official capacity of over 1,000 beds (expanding practically to 2,000+ beds to accommodate regional inflow). This massive structure provides students with a jaw-dropping variety of clinical cases, unmatched by most global institutions. Fully recognized by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BM&DC) and affiliated with the University of Dhaka, MMC is globally listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools (WDOMS). It perfectly adheres to all guidelines laid down by India's National Medical Commission (NMC), featuring English-medium modules and logbook-driven internships. Due to its rigid academic discipline, MMC graduates consistently maintain top ranking positions and exceptional passing rates in licensing exams like NExT, FMGE, USMLE, and PLAB.
